I'm in the process of writing a blog post on practical ways to resist Brexit. The first entry was “get informed”, and listed various resources for you to educate yourself about the issues related to Brexit. It got to be bigger than the whole rest of the article, so I've split it out into its own post.

Brexit, No Exit: Why (in the End) Britain Won't Leave Europe

Denis MacShane was an MP and Europe minister under Tony Blair, and is now as commentator and writer on European issues. His book shows how we got to Brexit and what needs to be done now. He argues that Brexit will not mean full rupture with Europe and that British capitalism will overcome the ultra-right-wing forces of the Conservative back-bench and UKIP. Although the path to Article 50 and beyond will be fraught and tensely-negotiated, Britain cannot and will not divorce itself from the continent of Europe and the European question will continue to be a defining feature of politics into the future.

Remainiacs Remainiacs is the no-bullshit Brexit podcast for people who won’t just shut up and get over Brexit. Every week, it takes an honest look at the unfolding shambles that is Britain’s departure from the EU. It's presented by Dorian Lynskey (author of “33 Revolutions Per Minute: A History Of Protest Songs”), Ian Dunt (editor of politics.co.uk) and Peter Collins (former Business Editor of The Economist). Recent guests have included Labour Euro MP Seb Dance, Citizens4Britain's Simon Allison, Pro-EU Conservative Garvan Walshe, and Labour MP (and out-and-out Remainer) Stella Creasy.
Cakewatch The Cakewatch podcast is hosted by former UK negotiator in the EU Steve Bullock and fellow self-confessed eurocrat Chris Kendall. Between them (and their occasional special guests), they investigate cakeism: the philosophy of having your cake and eating it, as preached and practised by the British government in its approach to leaving the EU/wrecking the country.
The New European The New European Brexit Podcast is not aligned with old political divisions but with an enthusiasm and love for Europe; an award-winning Pro-Remain, anti-Brexit publication that gives voice to the values of the 48%
Sixteen Million Rising Sixteen Million Rising is the UK's first, grassroots, Pro-European radio show and podcast. It's a lot more music based that the other podcasts in this list - think of an hour long radio show with music, news and jingles, rather than the talk-based discussion format the others use. The monthly radio show is made entirely by cross party activists, and is available on Mixcloud. They also do the occasional special podcasts, including interviews with Sir Tony Robinson, A.C. Grayling, Madeleina Kay, Femi Oluwole and Mike Galsworthy. SMR is an affiliated partner of Britain for Europe.
Chopper's Brexit Podcast The Telegraph's weekly Brexit podcast hosted by Chief Political Correspondent Christopher “Chopper” Hope. One to listen to if you want to know what the other side thinks about Brexit.
Brexit Podcast The Brexit Podcast makes sense of all the nonsense surrounding the UK’s decision to leave the EU. It brings in the most straight-talking experts from all fields, as well as average people from all walks of life and from both sides of the issue, to document a snapshot of public opinion about the issue.

OFOC (Our Future Our Choice) OFOC believe that there is no good Brexit deal for young people. Brexit means less opportunities, a tougher job market and fewer rights for young people. Our Future Our Choice is committed to a People's Vote on the final Brexit deal.

Other campaign groups and protests
European Movement International The European Movement is a network of organisations that has mobilised citizens and advocated for European integration since 1948.
SODEM (Stand Of Defiance European Movement) Stand of Defiance European Movement was started by Steven Bray in September 2017. He organised a “Day of Action” on the day MPs returned from their summer recess. SODEM was born when the Day of Action transformed into the “Daily Parliament Protest” outside Parliament. It sends a clear message both to the public and the politicians that Brexit is not the will of the people and it is OK to say so. Steve is outside Parliament from 11am – 6pm every day that MPs are in session. Anyone is welcome to join him. And every day they do.
The No 10 Vigil The No 10 Vigil (#No10Vigil) against Brexit is a vibrant, energetic and creative protest group. It meet regularly during the parliamentary year – every Monday and Wednesday from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at Richmond Terrace, Whitehall, London, right opposite Downing Street. They are there to be loud and visual ; everything from singing, music, chanting and public speaking to simply waving an EU flag. During parliamentary recess and on many Fridays and Saturdays they also take the protest on tour to events and locations around London. They can also give help and advice to other local groups intending to set up similar vigils across the country.
The 48% The public-facing website for “The 48%”, a pro Remain, anti Brexit group with the clear objective of keeping the United Kingdom within the European Union. It is not a “campaign” group as such – it signposts activists to politically active groups and provides a space where you can get the latest insights, share your worries, ask questions as regards the process of Brexit, about the EU and what we are going to do about this mess. The site contains articles and regular updates available to all.
'Retaining European Citizenship' European Citizens' Initiative The “Retaining European Citizenship” European citizens' initiative is seeking a way for people to retain their European citizenship if they wish. Their initiative, “Retaining European Citizenship”, has been submitted by the required seven EU citizens resident in seven member states: Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy and the UK.
Another Europe Another Europe is Possible is an alliance of progressives fighting for an alternative to extreme Tory Brexit. They come from across the spectrum of the progressive left, working across party political lines to campaign for democracy, human rights, and social justice. After the bitter disappointment of the referendum result they are continuing our campaign to defend the six progressive elements of EU membership: workers' rights, environmental sustainability, the free movement of people, human rights, science and research funding and transnational innovation. They are also fighting for democracy in the Brexit process.

Stop Brexit Stop Brexit Limited is a campaigning organisation with the sole aim of preventing the UK from leaving the EU. Registered as a not for profit company limited by guarantee, it has been set up by a diverse range of people from across the grassroots Remain movement who are united in the firm belief that Brexit can and must be stopped. Organisers of the Stop Brexit March in Manchester in October 2017 and Great Northern March in March 2018.
Campaign for Europe Campaign for Europe is a pro-EU online community that welcomes anybody, resident of any country of any nationality, who believes in the European Union. The group was originally set-up as ‘Campaign for Europe on the 25th’. The aim of the group was to ‘social media storm’ on the day of the London ‘protest march’, pro EU march in Rome, et cetera, on March 25th 2017. The group proved to be popular, so it is now continuing. The aim of the group is now to promote the benefits of European Union membership and talk about the lives of those resident within the EU.
Remainer Now A group of former Leave voters (and friends) who want to say “it's OK to change your mind” and that 2016 was a LONG time ago. People know more, they are seeing more impacts on their lives, their livelihoods, and their children's futures. The site shares their stories and experiences, and allows them to hear opinions from all sides of the Brexit debate. It shares the stories of hundreds of leave voters who’ve reconsidered Brexit and builds a #remainernow community.

Legal challenges
Article 50 Challenge In spite of what the Government claims, the Article 50 notification given on 29 March 2017 is invalid, and the Article 50 Challenge is seeking to challenge its legality in the courts. If this is successful, the notification will be nullified, Brexit will be halted, and the decision to leave or remain will be back in the hands of Parliament where it belongs.
UK in EU Challenge UK in EU Challenge is asking the High Court to find on two issues that could fundamentally alter the Brexit process. 1. Because of the Leave campaign’s proven disregard for spending rules – to declare the 2016 Referendum result null and void. 2. To find that the ‘will of the people’ was influenced by the Leave campaign's fraudulent behaviour and, that the Prime Minister is wrong to rely on the Referendum result now the Electoral Commission has proven wrongdoing.

EU Citizens Champion EUcitizensChampion is a campaign for The 3 Million founded by Dr Tanja Bueltmann. It was set up to make sure that no EU citizen is left behind because of Brexit.
British in Europe British in Europe is the largest coalition group of British citizens living and working in Europe. So far we are made up of ten groups across the continent representing a membership of around 35 000 Brits working together to stand up for the rights of UK citizens in the EU and EU citizens in the UK.
Bremain In Spain Bremain in Spain is a forum for UK Citizens that have chosen to live, work, study and retire in Spain. It is a grass-roots volunteer organisation that is campaigning to remain in the European Union, and to protect the rights and freedoms associated with EU membership.

Now you can buy flags, car flags, sticker and other EU-themed merchandise from them. Don't just buy from an anonymous flag seller online - at least 50% of all profits will go to support remain events and initiatives. (Please note, they are not the actual Mafia).

LSE Brexit blog LSE Brexit is a multidisciplinary, evidence-based blog run by the London School of Economics and Political Science. It is part of the ‘LSE Programme on Brexit’, run jointly by the European Institute and the Institute of Public Affairs.
Chris Kendal's Blog (ottocr.at) Chris Kendall is a diplomat working for the European Union, who describes himself as an “Anglo-Schwäbisch eurocrat”. He co-hosts the Cakewatch podcast (with Steve Bullock). His twitter handle is @ottocrat, hence the blog name. It welcomes different views and debate in connection with Britain's EU membership. As a public group, you can share posts from it and and everyone on Facebook will be able to see them.
Brexit - No Way - The 73% - Remain in the European Union Public group 15,794 members A group is for people who wish that the UK would remain in the EU. In the event that Brexit can’t be avoided it aims to achieve the best possible deal for the UK. Posts should relate to the mission of the group. Trolling is not permitted and any person that insults another member of the group will be removed.
Resisting Brexit! Public group 4,584 members The aim of the “Resisting Brexit” group is to inform members of what is happening regarding Brexit, by publishing articles from all parts of the UK from local and National newspapers. It publicises events, marches and petitions. It is also a discussion group. As a public group, it is easy to share posts and get the message out far and wide. It is moderated to avoid extreme language or unnecessary argument. All are welcome that have a stake in the need to Remain. All posts MUST be about Brexit.
Campaign for Europe Public group 917 members Campaign for Europe is a pro-EU online community that welcomes anybody, resident of any country of any nationality, who believes in the European Union. It is a non-partisan group, and any post that is too biased toward any political party will be deleted. This is to prevent any in-fighting in that distracts from support for a united, peaceful Europe (which includes being against Brexit). The aim of the group is to ‘back-up’, by a ‘social media storm’, approved pro-EU campaigns by other groups. Campaign for Europe seeks to cooperate with other groups in promoting the EU, promoting the retention of EU citizens’ rights and promoting the rights of all EU citizens to participate in any EU reforms. Anti-EU trolls and commercial advertising are not allowed.
The 48% - And Beyond Petitions Sign & Share (Let's Remain in the EU) Public group 832 members A group entirely devoted to petitions and getting traction on as many as possible. It welcomes anyone who wants to sign & share petitions relating to staying in the EU. Posts not specifically related to petitions will be removed.
The 48% Closed group 60,040 members ‘The 48%’ is a pro-Remain, anti-Brexit group with the clear objective of keeping the United Kingdom within the European Union. They firmly believe in the fact that membership of the European Union helps safeguard our rights and freedoms, as well as provide social and economic partnerships that otherwise would be difficult, expensive or impossible. Their primary goal is for the UK to remain in the EU under the current membership terms. They will only seek the next “best deal” when remaining is not legally achievable. The group works to facilitate discussion, share ideas, promote and to lead projects that give a voice to those sympathetic to the mission.
We Are #StopBrexit Closed group 29,809 members A group for everyone opposed to the UK leaving the EU. Launched in the wake of the 2016 referendum, they were proud to shout out that "We Are The 48 Percent" who voted to Remain. Still proud to be that 48%, they now represent a growing majority of public opinion. The purpose of the group is #StopBrexit and pro-EU unity. Discriminatory language, gratuitous and gross insults, direct personal abuse and the condoning of or incitement to violence are banned. Sales and commercial posts are also prohibited.
Europeans Closed group 13,989 members A group stressing the importance of being a European Citizen. It is committed to drawing attention to the European citizens Rights of the UK remainers and European citizens that will be affected by the Brexit Policy. Every European citizen is welcome in the group providing that they support these principles. It is a Group for EUROPEANS, including ALL UK Citizens. It is also for those who were born in the EU or are currently living in the EU or in some way affected by Brexit. All posts are expected to involve Brexit in some way. It is a Group of Conservatives, Labour, Liberal Democrats, Greens, everyone young and old who feel that staying in the EU is vital to the short term and long term good of the UK as a whole. Leavers are not barred, but reasonable debate is expected, and trolls will not be tolerated.
Sixteen Million Rising Closed group 4,458 members The Official Facebook Group for The Sixteen Million Rising radio show and podcast. A way for listeners to get involved with making the shows.
